Abelleira Beach

The village
Abelleira is one of many villages built between the main road and the sea. The population totals 300 inhabitants. There is a convenient shop for basic items but it is in Muros, 4 miles / 6 km away, where you can find all the different services and shops. The charm of the village is its quietness and the beauty of its beaches.

Beaches and estuary
In addition to its very obvious beauty, Abelleira’s beaches and surrounding waters are rich in seafood. Its singularity is a little sand island with pine trees, located between the sea and a small estuary. Its fine white sandy beaches are fantastic for families as the waters are shallow and calm. Another big advantage the beaches is that they are not busy during the summer season.
