Larino Beach

Lariño beach is a beautiful 1.1 mile / 1.8 km of white fine sand with very few constructions surround it. It has the benefit of having two accesses; one from Ancoradoiro and the other one from Lariño's lighthouse. From de Ancoradoiro’s side there is a shaded picnic area with BBQs, wooden tables and benches, ideal for lunches and siestas. The lighthouse’s end is where the surfers enjoy a good day on the water when the conditions are favourable. For its ecological value is protected by the Red Natura 2000* * Natura 2000 is the centrepiece of EU nature & biodiversity policy. It is an EU wide network of nature protection areas established under the 1992 Habitats Directive. The aim of the network is to assure the long-term survival of Europe's most valuable and threatened species and habitats.
